When will Absolver be released?

August 29th, 2017 on PC and Playstation 4

 

What platforms will Absolver be available on? PC Requirements?

PC and PS4 at launch, a delayed Xbox One port is confirmed as well for a later date

    • OS: Windows 7/8/8.1/10 x64
    • Processor: Intel Core i7-950 (4 * 3000) or equivalent / AMD Phenom II X4 965 (4 * 3400) or equivalent
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM
    • Graphics: GeForce GTX 480 (1536 MB) / Radeon HD 7850 (2048 MB)
    • DirectX: Version 9.0
    • Network: Broadband Internet connection
    • Storage: 11 GB available space
    • Additional Notes: Gamepad strongly recommended.

Do I need to be online to play?

The game has an offline mode, but in order to obtain PvP rewards you must be online.

 

Does the game have regions? Is my play region locked?

There are several server regions in Absolver: North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia. An Australian server has been announced.

Players can only join up with other players in the same region, but you may be moved to a different region if your local server is full. Your region is decided by your IP.

Players may invite friends in other regions to join them

 

What is a school? How do I join or leave a school? How do I create a School?

Schools are player factions or guilds in Absolver. Players can join a Fighting School by going to the Social tab and then Encounters and selecting a player from the list who is in a School and click “Join School“. You can see the details about the School when you select their name, such as number of Students, Disciples and the Leaderboard rank of that School.

To leave a school, simply join another one.

You can create your own fighting school by following this instructions.

 

What is a Style? How do you choose a Combat Style?

Combat Styles are Absolver's classes. They determine your characters initial defensive options for combat. There are four styles:

 

How do I get the best gear in Absolver? Is there a best setup?

Absolver has Attributes that are affected by Weapons and Armor. All gear types are viable and their efficiency in combat will depend on the player's Combat Deck and their preparedness for battle in terms of predicting enemy movements and reacting in time. To make the best setup for your character, consider the weight to damage ratio, and find the gear that matches your playstyle.
